HOW TO GET THERE:
Driving: put IP12 2TW in the Satnav & follow it to Bentwaters. There’s a gatehouse at the entrance that you don’t need to stop at (unless they ask you to) but do drive slowly & give them a nice wave. Then head to the T-junction & look out for the green Old Jet signs with arrows directing you around the airbase to the building. Adhere to the speed limits even though you will DEFINITELY want to pretend you’re taking off in a jet plane. You can park overnight.
Taxi: M&R Cars 01394 386191 are Woodbridge’s local taxi company who know Old Jet well. THEY DO GET BOOKED UP IN ADVANCE so best to prebook. That said, will look at organising some taxi pooling dependent on where you’re staying.
